The first tape that I ever owned was the Greatest Hits of ABBA. This ws back around 1977 I suppose, when ABBA was pretty much at the height of their powers, and before a lot of their really big hits. Because of that, the greatest hits collection had some early almost-hits and popular songs that were subsequently left off the cds ABBA Gold and More ABBA Gold. And for this reason alone I also own their release ABBA on cd. This was their third album and the one that broke them big, with songs like I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, Mamma Mia, S.O.S. and even Honey, Honey. It includes the song Bang-A-Boomerang which is one of my favorite ABBA tracks, and is not on the ABBA Gold cds.
I've been listening to it on my iPod recently. It's still a great pop tune:
