I worked on my Girls School fanfic story today. I went walking after work, and on the way home I was thinking that I could use my time to write more, or maybe log into City of Heroes and join a task force (which I rarely do as they typically take 1.5 to 3 hours to complete). Or I could spend some time reading.

And what do I do instead? I decide to see how many female-fronted goth metal / symphonic metal bands I can list.

Too many, as it turns out. Once I got past 50 I started doing research in earnest. I didn't quite make it to 100, but then, I haven't bothered surfing through Myspace. I'm quite sure if I started with a few bands that I like and clicked on bands that have friended them, I could probably compile a much bigger list of bands... maybe 200 or even 300.

I'm good at wasting my time!
