For a band that wallows in suicidal self-hatred (mixed with unrequited love, of course), Mortal Love should probably be labeled an emo band... but since Emo is a music style and not just a state of mind (several music styles actually), what we have here is a rather morbidly remoantic version of gothic rock/metal.
I've had three of their songs on my iPod for months now, so I'm surprised that I haven't posted about them yet. Of the three, this one stuck with me the longest. It's... not earth-shattering, but I like it.
