Today's Song: Wuthering Heights by The Puppini Sisters
I'm sure you've been wondering, "What would Kate Bush's song Wuthering Heights sound like if the Andrews Sisters covered it?"
Well, maybe you haven't wondered that. Nevertheless, The Puppini Sisters are here to let you know. Their cover of the song is so different that I almost didn't recognize it at first. (And let's face it, the way Kate sings the lyrics are at times unintelligible; I knew the melody very well but I didn't know all of the lyrics even after years of listening to her.) It was a big hit and has been covered by quite a few people. Pat Benetar did a cover, and Finish rock band Indica likes to cover it apparently. But perhaps the oddest cover (maybe even stranger than the Puppini Sisters or Kate's original version) is this verion by The Ukelele Orchestra
