Since I've been listening to a lot of bluegrass lately, including several bands that claim to be alt bluegrass, punkgrass, rockgrass, psychograss, or whatever, I had to drag out my The Meat Purveyors and Split Lip Rafield songs and listen to them again. For me, Split Lip Rayfield especially encapsulates everything a punk bluegrass band should be.
I also realized that I've never listed either band as my song of the day. Since I failed to do a song of the day over the weekend, I am not going to rectify both probelms through the miracle of back-dating my posts.
