miko2Well... I think my virus is back. At least, I seemed to get two random popup pages while I was browsing. I've been very cautious, to the point of doing most of my browsing from my gaming machine, because I didn't want to know that the virus was still there and that I really can't get rid of it short of wiping my hard drive. But alas. I was feeling braver and started checking my online comics from my main computer tonight, and Internet Explorer spontaneously opened twice... to completely innocuous pages (one of them was a Dex Yellow Page or something I think, one was something like mapquest, I can't remember). Right now (since I installed Chrome) Firefox is not my default browser, which is why it used IE I suppose. Anyway, more scans, and yes, more vundo/vituemonde trojans and viruses. Bleah.
My ex roommate Tom wants to get together to do something tonight. I'm not sure what, he's supposed to call me.
I've discovered something that really shouldn't surprise me. After being somewhat disappointed (at first) that I'd accidentally ordered the manga for Strawberry Marshmallow rather than the next two dvds, I went ahead and read manga 3 & 4 and ordered the dvds. Volume 3 of the dvd arrived yesterday, and I watched it last night. And... it wasn't as good as the manga. Typical really, but since I discovered this series through the anime first I'm surprised to reach that conclusion so quickly. The anime is very funny, but... the manga is even funnier.
