I had this weird dream involving
miertam.
I mean really weird.
My body had been cut in half in some sort of accident. How it had happened wasn't part of the dream, and there wasn't any blood and I wasn't in any pain. It had happened several days ago or a week ago, and the thing was that Mike, aka Miertam, was coming over to put me back together. He would have come sooner, but he was busy.
My legs had been in the closet all this time. Not even on ice or anything, and I was a little concerned that they might have started to decompose and weren't good anymore. I was also concerned that Mike might not know how to sew all the arteries and muscles together again, but as it turned out, he didn't sew anything, he just used tape.
I can't remember if it was duct tape or not. :P We can only assume.
After Mike taped me together I got up and started to walk around. My legs and feet were tingling like they do when you lay on them weird and they go to sleep, but after a few moments that went away, which was a good indication that blood was flowing to them. I was still stumbling about like a Frankenstein monster and was worried that things wouldn't heal perfectly, and someone suggested that I should see a doctor so my plan was to make an appointment within the next few days, just to make sure my legs were going to stay attached and not wither and die.
That was about the extent of my weird dream.
Here's my simple amatuer psychoanalysis of my weird dream.
I have a Linux machine buried in my bedroom. Not in my closet mind you, but my room is a mess so in a sense everything in my room is buried.
I've been talking of moving it to my computer room and Mike has offered to come over and help me connect it to my network of computers. I don't know how to network a Linux machine, and Mike has come over to work on my computers and my roommate's computers on multiple occasions before. He's a computer doctor.
So my dream must represent the fact that I will soon dig my computer out and Mike will connect it to my network.
With duct tape.
And then I'll go see an expert to make sure the connection is healthy.
Well, it's not a perfect analysis, I suppose. :P
