miko2Today's Song: ABC's by K'Naan
I have to go back to rapper K'Naan because I've been listening to several of his songs all day and this one in particular grabs me. This is the kind of rap that actuallly interests me... there's melody, there's a mix of modern rap with music from Africa where K'Naan comes from... there's a very sharp message. The album that this comes from is not out until February 24th but I know I'm going to have to pick it up... and I own virtually no rap cds at all. I think the last legitimate rap cd I bought was 1998's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
