Today's Song: Supervillain by Schaffer the Darklord

For some reason I'm convinced that several of my friends would like this guy's latest cd quite a bit, even those that don't like rap much. Maybe it's because half of my friends could relate to "The Way That You Talk", which schools internet L33t speakers in proper spelling and punctuation, or maybe it's his excellent song about Supervillains. He earns his name Darklord, however, not only by doing the song "Night of the Living Christ" (a song about the return of Christ -- as a zombie ready to feast on believers) but also, if that weren't dark and twisted enough, by re-imagining the Wizard of Oz with a Tin Man who's a homicidal maniac.

I'm quite sure that skyoxford, at least, would approve of those two songs. ^_^ Very possibly zorkfox as well.

This song isn't on his myspace page or on Youtube... in general he seems to be much more cautious about putting his stuff out on the internet than other nerdcore rap artists. He only has one official video on Youtube, and doesn't have any free downloads from his web site. He does, however, have two cds for sale from iTunes, and I can attest that the Supervillan song is quite good. ^_^ I may need to download the Tin Man song too, or maybe the whole cd.
