Today's Song: Clear As Day by North Twin

I've been listening to KEXP's song of the day podcast for a long time, and in all that time I rarely heard anything that really grabbed me. Often the songs were pleasant enough and I'd probably come to like them if I listened to them enough -- but a song that screamed "buy me now"?

Yesterday I listened to five of their podcasts from this past week, and one of them was for North Twin's Clear As Day. I had to play it again. And again. Then I had to go download it.

This is powerful country bar rock, and the best part is that the band hails from here in Seattle. Good stuff. They have the song up on their myspace page -- check it out.
