Ambeon was a side project of Arjen Anthony Lucassen with vocalist Astrid van der Veen, who was only 14 years old at the time (2001). Most of the songs are remixed versions of songs from Ayreon, Arjen's main band, with new lyrics written by van der Veen.
I picked this cd up several years ago, when I could only find it by ordering it as a Brazillian import. I'm not sure you can buy it anywhere anymore. I probably would have forgotten about it but I happened to place a copy of it on Nara's server, and she found it and fell in love with it... so it's always playing on Radio Prometheus. She became a big Ayreon fan too and even got one of their cds for me as a gift.
