It's really not fair to label Yoko Kanno as "j-pop"; that's like saying Ray Charles is piano music, or something. Yoko Kanno is an international music genius. Anyway my soundtrack for season one of Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex arrived today, and so I'm making the ending theme from season one my song of the day. Cool tune! But of course, if you were a fan of Yoko's previous work (such as her music for Cowboy Bebop) then you shouldn't be surprised.
I need to get out my Cowboy Bebop cds again....
