Still with the online comics

I haven't finished any of these comics yet, aside from Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki, but I've read a bit on Palestra
and There Be Elves, and they both seem pretty interesting fantasy stories so far, and I've read a TON of RPG World (very funny! HILARIOUS in fact!) and a TON of Okashina Okashi/Strange Candy (very weird!).
But tonight I'm reading something else entirely, another fantasy story that's more serious, called Kagerou. It was a little disjointed at first but it's developed quite nicely and the artwork is getting better and better... pretty darn good actually. In many ways it's one of the most interesting and original and cool-looking online comics I've seen so far.
Some of these are so good, it makes me wonder if anyone will try to collect them into graphic-novel form some day. There's a lot of stuff on the web that is really cool that has the potential to just disappear in a few years, you know.
Anyway I keep wondering if
sora_kitsune and
dakotamoon really CAN do a comic like this... I mean it takes a lot of determination and effort and single-mindedness. Most of them are updated several times a week, or at least once a week. I know I wouldn't be able to do it and spend a lot of time on anything else... no EQ, no other stories, no lots of stuff... and I know I'd probably give up eventually. I mean, look at me and my own major project, Muyami Academy, which I leave alone for months at a time. Or the Mick & Dana comic I used to do... I kept at that for about a year before stopping forever. And actually, Strange Candy was being done by three girls but one of them (the original scriptwriter) apparently got sucked into Everquest... so someone else took over, although it's hard to tell if it was just for a few episodes or permenantly. That comic is so scattered plot-wise that it hardly matters, heh.
Still checking on WTF Comics and the other EQ/Game comics I linked before... WTF is updated a couple of times a week. I like that one quite a bit. :D
Otherwise, I got my three Hassan Hakmoun cds yesterday. The newest one just released within the last year is The Gift (not to be confused with Gift of the Gwana, another of his cds). Anyway, OMG it's brilliant! Much more complex and interesting than the stuff I already had, and I liked those two. :D And I've also been listening to What It Is by Cordelia's Dad, which is also the best thing they've ever released. Cool stuff! And Varttina's Iki too of course!
