Today's Song: The Rake's Song by The Decemberists

I've been listening to The Hazard's of Love by the Decemberists, which is less like the story folk of their past and more like a grand rock opera of the sort you never hear anymore. I have to say, though, that for such a cool and ambitious album they really came up with an ugly cover -- no picture at all, just the name of the cd. I don't like it. But anyway, the cd itself rocks, from beginning to end. I like this a lot more than The Crane Wife, actually, and I liked that one okay.

Glad I picked this up as a 3.99 digital download from lala.com. ^_^
