Today's Song: Moth's Wings by Passion Pit

Passion Pit is an electronic pop band that I've heard mentioned on NPR more than once. They released an EP last year that got a lot of attention, and apparently today was the release of their much-anticipated full length cd Manners. This is also the Amazon cd special download of the day, full cd for $2.99. That's a good price if you like the music. I went to Lala, which allows you to listen to each track all the way through once, and after listening to a couple of songs I decided that, yes, it's worth it. ^_^

I'm such an Amazon download addict anymore. I download at least one new cd each week. On the plus side, it takes me several weeks to add up to the cost of one cd bought at normal prices, so I've actually cut down on the money I spend on music.

Tori Amos has a new cd out today too. I would have downloaded that if it were on sale, but maybe I'll actually buy the real cd, hmm? Oh, but Amazon had one song from it as a free download this morning. (Still is actually.)
