Ok, don't ask me what to think of this. I found it by accident. I've mentioned the "pirate metal" band Alestorm before. Really, they are very similar to Korpiklaani, just with a pirate angle. There are other pirate metal bands around and it's considered its own genre (which would not even exist if not for Johnny Depp aka Jack Sparrow, I say). Anyway Swashbuckle appears to be... Pirate Deathcore? I dunno, you tell me.
Ok, I know wizard rock is very popular and I know that Darkest of the Hillside Thickets are a Chthulu rock/metal band, so piratecore isn't such a big stretch. I'm waiting for Ninjacore to be the next big thing. ^_^
