Today's Song: No Time To Lose by The Tarney-Spencer Band
So this is a song that, even back when it got some radio airplay was not a big hit. But I heard it and I loved it and I bought the album several years later. It's one of those songs where I wished I could own it in digital form / on a CD, but figured it would never be available in that format.
In the last two days I started assembling an iPod playlist of songs from when I was younger -- mostly stuff from when I was in high school. And I remembered this song, and I thought to myself, "I wonder if I can find that on Youtube?" And guess what? I can!
Now if I can only find the song "(I'll Be Your) Substitute" by... I can't remember, they were an ABBA imitator band and that was their one (very minor) hit song. I used to have the 45.
