Good news: I did my exercise Saturday and Sunday. 40 and 35 minutes on the treadmill. Weekends are when I've usually been lazy the past few months.
Bad news: Tried writing on my story all last week, but accomplished very little.
Bad news: Rent's due today. I think I have just enough to cover rent and sewer & water (they like you to include it all at once). Payday is Friday.
Good news: I made "vegetarian chili" which turned out to be more or less bean soup, so I have lunches for the week covered. I was very proud that I went shopping and limited myself to my $20.00 budget (what I had in my wallet), only buying what I really needed right now. But then I got home and remembered that I had intended to get a few eggs and some milk so I could make cornbread to go with the chili. Bleah!
Starting this payday I need to start putting money away again, so I don't run into problems like this.
Good news: I actually worked a bit on culling my massive library of books. I've got several boxes that I'm slowly filling, so that I can try to sell them at Half Price and then give whatever's left over to goodwill. I've been meaning to get rid of stuff for a couple of years, but usually it's "I should do that" and then I do nothing about it.
I just own too much stuff period.
