Spent part of last night on a new project, like I need more projects to keep me busy. I also logged into EQ and said hello to people, but I didn't really play or stay on that long. Had a short conversation with Tom's friend Jeff who was online. Told him to check out Cruachan, he said he's into Spanish music right now, flamenco, all that sort of thing. I said he should listen to Radio Tarifa.

Haven't written much at all this week, just a few paragraphs for the Ranma 1/2 fanfic I'm working on. Well, except for the project I mentioned, which involves non-fiction writing.

Got paid today. I actually have a lot of money in the bank, partly because I have bills that I need to pay, but also because I got my bonus vacation money this pay period.

Other than that, I went to work, I came home, I surfed the web. Oh yeah, Bob Whitsit resigned as President/GM of the Portland Trailblazers today. Like I didn't see that one coming. Everyone in Portland rejoiced, and apparently if they can get rid of Rasheed Wallace and Ruben Patterson, there will be even more rejoicing. But if they manage to shed their Jailblazer image I'll have one less source of amusement.

Not that I can't be amused at Mike Price... how do you accept a 10 million dollar contract to become the football coach at Alabama, a position that seriously will make you more famous and recognized that anyone else in that state including the govorner, and then mess it up so badly? And in the last four months he didn't even sign the contract? I agree with the pundits, if someone offers me 10 million dollars for anything, the first thing I do is sign the contract, and after that I am extra careful to do things by the book, they way my bosses want, and to not screw up in any signifigant way. It really boggles the mind, what he allegedly did (even the parts he admits to are mind-boggling). It's also very sad but you can't feel too sorry for him when he did it to himself.
