One of the podcasts I subscribe to is KEXP's Song of the Day. It can be a lot of songs that I listen to once and they just don't grab me, or are pleasant enough songs but I already know if I listen to them 20 times they'll still be pleasant but mostly forgettable songs. Then occasionally I come across something I really like, such as Gentleman's Blues by The F*cking Eagles or Old Fangs by Black Mountain (not to be confused with New Fang by Them Crooked Vultures ^_^ ).
So last week I had I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down) by Sky Parade, and that was a winner so I downloaded it and put it on my iPod. Today I came across another keeper: The Show Must Not Go On by Harvey Danger. They're actually a Seattle band that's been a round since the early 1990's, and even had a fairly big hit with Flagpole Sitta. Anyway it's a good song, which you can download free from their website. ^_^
