I grabbed a Belldandy icon at random from my icon folder, but it's not displaying right now so I have no idea which one it is. ^_^

I've been playing Toontown so much that the music from the game gets stuck in my head. What's worse is that the game sometimes goes wonky and the music gets all distorted, so what's stuck in my head is not simply goofy carnival music, but goofy carnival music that is seriously off-key.

This is not a happy thing.

I mailed off my 12 labels from Dr. Pepper 20 oz today. I'm supposed to get an X-Men 2 tee shirt out of this, if they haven't run out already. Woo. They didn't say to specify a size, but I did. I hope that means I get what I asked for.

Today's left-handed non-complement from my calendar: "Offering someone the 'left hand of friendship' is another way of saying you betrayed that person."

And in my notebook, I have written "Graduation" and "Canadian Pennies". I bought my new notebook last week. The old one was nearly full and generally unlocatable. I like carrying a notebook -- 6x9 steno pad from Mead with the wire spiral at the top. Works better for lefties I guess. My friends all have handheld palm pilot computer thingies (portable brains) but I don't, and anyway I've just always liked having a notebook handy.

The Graduation comment is because people are graduating right now, and I was thinking of writing about my own graduation, but I don't have the time to do that at the moment. The Canadian Pennies note is to remind me of something else I was going to write about. For the life of me, I can't remember why I thought it was such an amazing observation that I needed to remind myself to write it in my journal, but for what it's worth, here's my brilliant thought of Monday:

Everyone treats American pennies as if they're worthless, and they nearly are. But don't most people get upset when they get Canadian pennies in change? I know I do, but if even American pennies are worthless, what's the difference?

Of course, American pennies aren't completely worthless just yet. You can still buy things with them, although there's precious little if anything that sells for a single penny. But in American you really can't get rid of Canadian pennies.

Anyway it makes me wonder how many more years we can keep pennies in circulation.
