miko2So I sent an e-mail to the taipantales list last night, and found out that I wasn't subscrited.
Well, I am subscribed of course, but not under my current e-mail. So I go into accounts and change my account back to my old e-mail to send my message. Then I send another message about the problem.
So today I have two replies from Gene and Mike, and Gene has also been fixing my problem. I click on the link to coollist that is supposed to subscribe me under my new e-mail address. I fill out forms. I change my e-mail account back under Accounts to reflect my current e-mail address. I write a response what Gene and Michael said about my original post.
Rejected. I'm not subscribed to taipantales.
Blah. So I go to the coollist page. Apparently I'm subscribed only to tpeditorial under my new account with my new e-mail address.
Double-blah. I can't keep switching my account to reflect one e-mail address or a nother... So I go back into Outlook Express and add another Account with my old e-mail address.
Then I try to send my e-mail again. Rejected. I'm not subscribed to taipantales under the old e-mail address either.
Apparently I'm not subscribed at all.
I go back to my deleted e-mails... okay, I got 2 messages saying I was being subscribed to 2 lists... I must have just replied to the tpeditorial iist. Only got one unsubscribed message saying I was unsubscribed from tpeditorial for my old e-mail, but whatever, I was obviously unsubscribed from taipantales too.
So all I have to do is click the link and go to the coollist web page and bingo, I'm subscribed to taipantales again, right?
Right?
Error. "Cannot find server".
Aaaaaaargh!
I've been trying to answer this e-mail for the last hour and for the last 20 minutes I've been unable to get to the coollist web site to finish subscribing to the list I'm supposed to be on... Grrrrr.
Maybe I'll just write a letter and put it in the mail... ^_^
