miko2I was going to buy that desk that was on sale at Office Max, but the sale's over. I should've done it Saturday I guess, was too busy doing other things. Not like I probably need to spend the money anyway.
I logged into Everquest for the first time in about two months. Eventually I wound up hanging out with two old friends from my guild in Oasis. We got drunk to celebrate St. Patrick's day... in EQ, when you drink a lot, your screen becomes all distorted, you stumble about, and anything you type comes out as semi-gibberish for everyone else. One of the fun little touches that still sets this game apart from its competition. ^_^
I can't play the game too well these days though. I need a new video card, and probably a new sound card... or even just a whole new computer. ^_^
One of the weird bugs that results from this made my character, Jalia, appear bald some of the time. Sort of like an overdeveloped Sinead O'Connor:
Later I killed a couple of sand giants. One of the reasons I've held onto my account, despite not playing a whole lot in the last year is because, after all the work I've put into this character, I can log in and kill something big, and that's still fun to do. ^_^
(Not played a lot, I hear you say? Since June I played a lot of Anarcy Online and Dark Age of Camelot, but very little Everquest).
I was a day late, but I did buy some corned beef last night and cooked it overnight in the crock pot. I added green food dye for fun. Then I steamed some cabbage today to take to work with the meat. ^_^
