What's up for today?
Oct. 25th, 2003 12:54 pmTom is gone. This means I could wander around the apartment naked if I really wanted to.
I watched the rest of my You're Under Arrest last night. It's kind of cheesy that one of the four boxed discs they give you is just extra stuff that they could easily put on one of the other cds if they wanted to. They make a big deal about it because you can only get it by buying the boxed set... there are four boxed sets to get the whole series, and the next two have extra stuff discs as well.
Oh well, it could be worse, at least they put four episodes on per cd, which is better than a lot of companies do. But I can never get around the impression that AnimEigo is cheap. Their slogan is "Anime your way" which is so far from the truth that it's laughable. I mean, they've had the rights to this series for years and only in the last year did they decide to put it out. Whole Anime empires have arisen in that time. You have to wonder if they have any idea of how much money they've lost in the last ten years simply because they didn't do things (like put out anime that they already had the liscenses to) when they could have.
I feel like I should go out. Do some shopping or something. But I don't actually want to spend much money. I do have an errand or two to run.
I have the story I'm supposed to be finished editing by tonight to finish editing. I have college football to watch, but I don't know if the Huskies are on and I don't know if I really want to watch them since they're likely to lose vs. USC. Or I might be interested in Baseball, or I could watch the other two animes I picked up Thursday. Of course, I really should do some cleaning -- I want to get a little cleaning done each weekend. That's my goal. But there's always tomorrow, hehe.
I haven't written anything in two or three days either. I really should.
So much to do, so little enthusiasm. ^_^ I'm inclined to be as lazy as possible before I have to go to the Tai-Pan meeting.
